Ombre Ombre Ombre!

If you are yet to guess what I'll be posting about, referring to the title, I guess you can just read on to find out...
I'm pretty much the type of person who gets fairly bored with their hair really quickly so I'm needing a quickfix with a new, easy, dramatically different haircut. On Wednesday this week, I'll be making my way to the Salon to shop off my hair once again and get something that is really easy to style because it's winter and I don't really bother with my hair anymore before school except tie it up. So yeah, short hair once again. If you have seen my first ever picture on my first blog post ever, I had short hair there too. I'm not planning to cut mine too short, but short enough to feel better about my new hairstyle. My hair seriously cannot be tamed as it grows longer and I've been waiting until all my layers have grown out so that my hair can start to settle and flatten down from the usual 'boof' that layers gave me. I so hope this turns out well.

Alongside this, I will also be getting the Ombre effect passing through my hair. For those of you unfamiliar with this term, it's the gradient effect of a dark colour at the roots gradually fading into a lighter and brighter colour towards the ends. I've always been fond of this look but I wasn't brave enough because I am never too sure about a lot of things, and tis was just one of them. Until recently, Sim did it to her hair, and her hair is so long and beautiful, it also looked so good and this sort of tempted me more. This pretty much sums up that i'll be biting the bullet and going for it.

Unfortunately, getting that done at a salon comes by to be very costly so I will be risking it by D.I.Y[M] here at home. I've youtubed a lot of girls who did it at home and they have turned out so well that it convinced me that it won't turn out so bad. Mind you, their hair was even darker than mine, as in they actually dyed it black before starting the bleaching process. But yes, I'll be doing that at home tomorrow and then cutting off my hair on wednesday but you'll still be able to see the lighter ends, which I picture in my head to suit me in real life. Tomorrow, I'll be starting and I will actually be making a video of my process in bleaching. Please don't kill me fro killing my hair as it's only hair and will grow back eventually.

Here are some celebrities who've pretty much rocked off the ombre look:
